Kalashma Jat
One of the most confident and outspoken young Maldharis, Kalashma lives in Dhragavandh, on the western tip of India. Cameras were to be shared amongst the Maldhari youngsters, but Kalashma managed to monopolise one. She covered the mangroves – home to her beloved Kharai camels, and then trained another young herder to photograph her through the day! Kalashma oozes energy which reflects in her photo essay.
